When I went to bed Saturday night it was raining. I usually love to fall asleep to rain, but not last night. When I woke up this morning, ready for the Newport Liberty Half Marathon in Jersey City, I still heard rain. It was dark and cold at 6:00 AM. I headed straight to the kitchen for my coffee.
