Illustration by Idiots’Books As it turned out, his prison infirmary time didn’t last long at all. Kettlewell had faded fast from the riot, headed back to the guesthouse and got the lawyers on the phone. He’d shown them the stream off of Perry’s phone and they were in front of a judge before Perry reached the jail. Perry was led out of the infirmary with his arm in a sling. Nekropolis by Tim Waggoner Chapter

Chapter Three Before leaving, I strapped on my shoulder holster and then made a few selections from the foot locker on the floor of my closet. My 9mm handgun – a souvenir from my days on the force back in Cleveland – along with a few other goodies that I’d picked up since. I slid the 9mm into the holster and hid the rest in various places about my person, mostly in the extra pockets sewn into in the inner lining of my suit jacket, and then I was ready. Whatever terrible sorcery this is, I have no idea, but I can’t stop it. I don’t think I’ll ever be able to sleep again if this keeps up. It all started after a night out a while back. I was staggering my drunk ass home from the bar and tripped over some homeless guy. “Hey, get the fuck out of the way, whino!” I slurred in his direction. The homeless man stood up and walked towards me. Drunk as I was, I can hardly remembe

The Disgusting Crow

Tycho lay on top of his grassy hillock and waited for the disgusting crow to come for his eyes, feeling downright blue. His friends the tired old turtle and one-eared rabbit tried to pep him up, but it wasn’t taking. Banter was banter, but the disgusting crow was something else entirely. How Do You Respond to Bicycle Haters

If you bike enough it’s bound to happen - someone is going to be displeased with you and they are going to let you know it. Heck if you do anything at all someone will eventually find a reason to be unhappy with you, but I think we all know that when transit is involved, the heat is turned up a notch. Transit has a way of turning us into devils of sorts .
