Looking for adventure of a new and different kind

I didn’t have quite as much time today to work on the magazine as I’d hoped; I had a blast spending time with my son instead. Having said that, I did get a few things done. Some of you may have read my earlier post in which I deconstructed a very bad query we received. If you’re a writer, there are good hints in there of what not to do. I also responded to a submission withdrawal - that was the second time this month we’ve had a story pulled because it was accepted elsewhere. While we certWhen writers ask about magazine articles I often suggest they make simultaneous submissions when they are submitting complete articles over the transom. ‘Over the transom’ by definition means you’re submitting something without getting any sort of go-ahead form an editor or other staffer at the magazines in question.
