Posts about Obama Health Care Failure as of September

Cashless Society Right Around The Corner - socyberty.com 09/23/2009 Unfortunately, I am a living witness to this Orwellian nightmare actually occurring right before our eyes. Naqba Is As Naqba Does

Israel’s education minister, Gideon Sa’ar, yesterday announced that when third-graders file into their classrooms for the first day of school tomorrow and open their Arabic-language textbooks, they will no longer find “al-naqba” in their pages. The phrase, which roughly translates as “devastation on a par with the Holocaust,” and is invoked by Arabs throughout the Middle East to describe the establishment in 1948 of the “Zionist entity,” was inexplicably approved for use in the textbooks a couplFiled under Issues - Health, Issues - Immigration, Liberals, Obama, Pa Dems, Pennsylvania, Politics by KevinMcKay So we’ve all seen the cartoon about healthcare. A View from the Ground

Tell us what the situation on the ground is like. The siege is continuous and very depressing. You can feel it on a daily basis. It’s touching every element of society. It is interesting to observe the people on the ground and how they are coping. They keep asking me, as a journalist, ‘when is it going to be over?’ But, they understand that it could go on for a long time, especially with the continuous failure of the dialogue in Cairo and also with the absence of international intervention toSecurity Debrief is dedicated to news and analysis related to homeland security and terrorism. SONA

President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo’s 2009 State of the Nation Address Thank you, Ladies and gentlemen, good afternoon. Before I begin my report to the nation, please join me first in a moment of prayer for President Cory Aquino. Totally expected, of  course. But I kinda wish she had ended the prayer with a thanks to Cory for “making the GMA administration possible.” Senate President Enrile, Speaker Nograles, Senators, Representatives, Vice President de Castro, former PresidentNot everyone got the chance to be in front of a TV or radio set last July 27, when Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo, president of the Republic of the Philippines delivered her 9th, and supposedly, last State of the Nation Address so I deemed it right to post here the transcript as well as the video clips, courtesy of Youtube. I hope no one deletes this videos as there are still a lot of Filipinos both here and abroad who needs to hear this address. A lot of critics has been hard hit by Yesterday was President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo’s last State of the Nation Address for this term. I listened to it as I was going home passing through Edsa that was nearly trafficless at 3:00 pm. Trafficless save for areas where the Iglesia Ni Cristo were gathered to celebrate their anniversary - the sheer number of people had filled up the Araneta Coliseum to the rafters - so much so that a sea of people had filled up the parking lot immediately outside. And there were literally scores of cars,

The Shtate of the Nation Andmydressh

… ish AWSHOME! What was that anemone that the President was wearing??? Sheesh. All throughout, those fat fringes kept making me think of her as a clownfish. Not too bad as metaphors go … considering the state of her SONA. Incidentally, may I just say … i hate websites that put “SONA Full text” in their titles even though they don’t have it yet. Arroyo did not categorically say she will step down on June

As expected, Gloria Arroyo enumerated a litany of lies about her so called accomplishments. She did not say that she will be stepping down at the end of her term. She just said, “At the end of this speech, I will step down from this stage but not from the presidency, My term does not end until next year.” She did not say that she will not do anything to extend her term. She just said, “Until then, I will fight for the ordinary Filipino to the very last day.” She said, “I never declared MarHere is the full text of President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo’s speech before a joint session of Congress today, July 27, at the Batasan Pambansa.
