Introduction
Lagos State was created on May 27, 1967 by virtue of State Decree No. 14 of 1967, which restructured Nigeria’s Federation into 12 states. Prior to this, Lagos Municipality had been administered by the Federal Government through the Federal Ministry of Lagos Affairs as the regional authority, while the Lagos City Council governed the City of Lagos. And for a country like the Netherlands, it's far more likely to work. But the USA has a much bigger population and 50 states, each of which would have different laws. I'd be OK with a system that's OK for everyone. But when a country as large as the US tries to socialize health care, what happens is crappy health care for most, decent (but 10 times as expensive) health care for a very very small minority.
