Senate approves $150 million for Metro safety. The Post has a write up on a Senate bill providing funds for "projects that will improve the safety" of the Metrorail system. The main priorities for the money would be to implement important National Transportation Safety Board recommendations. It's not a done deal yet, the details need to be worked out with the House before President Obama signs it.
