When it comes to legal blogging, there seems to be no shortage of writing worth reading once one gets around to it. What's that? You have no round tuit? Herkko Hietanen Network Recorders and Social Enrichment of Television

Herkko Hietanen, a Berkman Fellow, is giving a talk about TV. “Television is really broken.” It’s not providing what consumers want: programs when we want them, where we want them. It lacks interaction with other viewers and with broadcasters. It has ads. It’s geographically limited. If you had to pitch TV to a venture capitalist, it would have a hard time getting funding. A Bit Torrent Tracker for CC Licensed Works Considering Copyright Puzzlers and More

Pirate Party of Canada launches Creative Commons bit torrent tracker Saw this on Prof. Geist’s blog, what looks like a pretty clever idea. The party is only serving torrents to CC-BY-NC-SA 3.0 works and includes some pages with more details about included artists, including rotating a new one onto the front page of the tracker each week. No details on how to get your works into the tracker, though. Canadian schools facing stiff retroactive copyright access fees Another story from Prof. G

Take it easy buddy holy shit. They are just coming out with a product that the player can relate rl with the game. Of course they are not military grade nvg's they are just for CoD or military enthusiasts. Just like the halo fanatics who bought the game edition with the Master Cheif helmet, they didnt buy it so they can go fight with it. Just a cool wall hanger. I think its a cool idea considering real Nvg's are like $2K
