Novation ReMOTE SL MkII Another visitor Stay awhile

My verdict so far: great controller, awkward name — the official product info page lists the line as "SL MkII", yet the original series it's a sequel to is the "ReMOTE SL". But my place is not to be pedantic, but make music. Even tho I had the 49SL MkII out of the box and working in a few minutes, I like to let my first impressions gel before any sort of writing approaching a "review". Comparing those experiences is invaluable to me, and I hope will be useful to you, too. Wedding Photography And The Story Of Your Day

By Thomas Champney A short article on what to think about when hiring a wedding photographer for your special day. It sounds like a simple task to take photos of that special day. However, more than you realise, there are a multitude of things to think about regarding your wedding photography. You will have only one chance, so make sure the photographer you hire is professional. One of the worst mistakes you could make would be to get a family member or close friend to be the wedd

If you like tThe cast of The Guild Chances are, if you’re reading this blog, you have some sort of crush on Felicia Day . And you know what? That’s okay. I’m not judging you. The Best Camera

World renowned photographer, Chase Jarvis , has developed an iPhone photography App called “The Best Camera.”  You may recall that we recently covered 24 Cool iPhone Photo Apps .  In that post, there were many photo apps which applied a variety of different filters and methods to share your photos with others; however, there was no one app that took care of it all.  That was Chase’s goal in creating The Best Camera – one app to rule them all.  Before I forget, here’s the iTunes link for tArt-Agenda - art-agenda.com September 23, 2009 BFAS Blondeau Fine Art Services presents Why Painting Now? Trying to equal the success of the prospector's baseball favorite, Topps tried to create a similar set for football. The problem is that prospecting is very tough to market in football because all of the players are usually on the field from the beginning. This year, the previews were promising for a design that looked much better than it had in previous years. After seeing the finished product, I am leEverybody comments on the size of this volume; its weightiness, both physical and metaphorical, is inescapable. Other reviewers will do a more scholarly job of analyzing the contents. This is my idiosyncratic first impression of this beautiful book. The left-hand side of every spread is a color photograph of a page from one of the two manuscript books used to record early revelations and commandments, with the right-hand side being a transcription of that manuscript page, line by line, each li

In and Around Park Forest Week of September

The Sauk Trail Rose Society recently held a Rose Show at the Illinois Theater Centre. Park Forest, IL–– The leaves are changing colors and the early morning chill makes it hard to deny that fall has arrived. But the changing seasons certainly do not mark the end of activities in Park Forest and our neighboring communities. Make it a point to take part in some of the many civic, educational, and artistic offerings taking place this week or in the near future. Prateeksha, Mumbai                    September 22, 2009                    Tue 11:16 PM There are many moments in our lives which are governed by realization. Soon after we are born we realize who our parents are. We call them Mother and Father. They are the ones we see the most often and the ones that respond to us when we call them. They shelter us, feed us, educate us, clothe us, look after us. A little later we realize who we are - a boy or  a girl. We realize that being a boy is differe
