If you haven't yet heard, yesterday our illustrious leader, President Mark Yudof, gave an interview to the New York Times on the very day of the UC-wide Walkout. ... Occupation is a tactic for escalating struggles, a tactic recently used at the Chicago Windows and Doors factory and at the New School in New York City. It can happen throughout California too. As party officials tried to portray the conference as the start of a concerted fightback, Brown insisted in an interview: "I do not roll over" – but admitted he had thought privately as to whether he was the right man to lead Labour. Karl Rove And The Republican War Against ACORN

In recent days, the Washington Post, the New York Times and other major news outlets have recounted the “troubled” history of the poor people’s advocacy group ACORN, but left out the five-year anti-ACORN campaign led by White House adviser Karl Rove and other Republican operatives. Dropped down the memory hole is the fact that ACORN was at the center of the so-called “prosecutor-gate” scandal, when the Bush administration pressured U.S. Attorneys to bring indictments over the grassroots group’

CompTIA Career Retraining Uncovered

by Jason Kendall The CompTIA A+ training program covers four areas of training; you’re thought of as an A+ achiever once you’ve passed your exams for half of them. This is why it’s usual for colleges to offer only two of the training courses. In reality you will need the teaching in all areas as a lot of employment will be looking for an awareness of each specialist area. It’s not essential to pass exams in all of them, however we’d advise that you learn about all four. Qualifying in CompTIACompTIA A Plus Training Across The UK Simplified by Jason KendallThere are four A+ exams and sections to study, but you only have to achieve certification in two to qualify for your A+. For this reason, the majority of training providers stick to just two options. But allowing you to learn about all 4 options will give you a more confident perspective of the subject, something you’ll discover is vital in the working environment.Once on the A+ training course you will learn how to build

Escalating violence in Somalia fueled by an influx of “mercenary fighters” from abroad was the greatest security challenge to the region, he said. You’ll find that most colleges limit their course to 2 of the 4 sectors. Our opinion is this isn’t enough – certainly you’ll have the qualification, but experience of all four will give you greater confidence in industry, where gaps in your knowledge will expose weaknesses. This is why you should train in everything. Pervez Musharraf is wrong on more US troops in Afghanistan

The former Pakistani President has made the contentious claim supporting more US troops in Afghanistan. He is siding with the Neocon agenda which support perpetual mimitic warfare in the Hindu Kush. Mr. Musharraf’s latest claim will further antagonize the Pakistanis who want to try him for the abrogation of the constition and declaration of Martial Law twice. http://abcnews.go.com/GMA/musharraf-us-send-troops-afghanistan/story?id=8656811 Former Pakistani President Pervez Musharraf sat downACORN has long been one of Karl Rove's targets. Either way, this is just awful: Blitzer: would also like the president to take bold leadership right now and simply get out of Afghanistan and do it as quickly as possible. McChrystals report divides military and civilian policymakers

Of course the civilian policymakers ideas make zero sense . Gen. Stanley A. McChrystal's grim assessment of the Afghanistan war has opened a divide between the military, which is pushing for an early decision to send more troops, and civilian policymakers who are increasingly doubtful of an escalating nation-building effort. Senior military officials emphasized Monday that McChrystal's conclusion that the U.S. effort in Afghanistan "will likely result in failure" without an urgent infusioAhmadinejad Says Talks Could Build Trust Over Issue By Glenn Kessler Ahmadinejad spoke to the U.N. Plan B

The Washington Post describes a change of strategy in mid-campaign. “Obama’s public remarks on Afghanistan indicate that he has begun to rethink the counterinsurgency strategy he set in motion six months ago, even as his generals have embraced it”. There are two issues in this respect worth considering. The first is whether the initial strategy the President “set in motion six months ago” was flawed to start with; the second is whether any of the new strategies he is considering will fare any

Why Talk to David Gregory

NBC Universal helpfully sent me an advance transcript of David Gregory's interview with the president on this morning's Meet the Press. The whole interview is dreadful and depressing. Gregory touches on four issues. Issue one is health care. Gregory probes the president to find out what his bottom line is, but he really just wants Obama to punch progressives in the face. Take the following exchange : DAVID GREGORY: Those narrow differences can also, in some cases, be ve

Brzezinskis lips move truth may or may not emerge

The national security adviser for former President Jimmy Carter, Zbigniew Brzezinski, gave an interview to The Daily Beast in which he suggested President Obama should make it clear to Israel that if they attempt to attack Iran's nuclear weapons sites the U.S. Air Force will stop them. "We are not exactly impotent little babies," Brzezinski said. "They have to fly over our airspace in Iraq. Are we just going to sit there and watch? ... We have to be serious about denying them that right. She is also an advocate of Jason's Law, legislation that is seeking to address the ongoing and escalating problems with truck driver safety and security. ***. l'unico motivo per cui il PD avrebbe dovuto (al passato!) cagarsi sotto è che se grillo si fosse candidato e avrebbe vinto avrebbe sicuramente dissipato metà del serbatoio di voti de PD che sono la fetta di popolazione più vecchia. di quello sì che si doveva preoccupare. o forse credevate che se anche grillo fosse stato segretario del PD sarebbe riuscito a mandare a casa i "parrucconi"? ma per favore, non facciamo della fantapolitica
