Obama an ultimatum: Give me more troops or we lose the war . The commentary on the WaPo article is voluminous, but this piece by Ann Jones at The Huffington Post is a must-read. Jones has spent a lot of time in Afghanistan, and understands what’s going on there perhaps better than most media talking heads: The big Afghanistan debate in WashI find myself a full time "stay at home mom", and I'm not sure what that definition means to me. Do I buy an apron and start making cookies on a daily basis? Do I try to become "super mom" and work from home, raise my daughter, maintain a home and be a good wife? Do I say hang it all and start eating bonbons while watching soaps? I don't know, but hopefully this blog will help me figure this whole new thing out! One thing struck me as a tad odd: the combination “Word and Spirit.” In most Reformed theology, Word and Spirit are almost assumed to belong together, for the Spirit always operates through the Word.
